BIOGRAPHY
The UTEP Tuba Euphonium Octet is a select chamber ensemble from the University of Texas at El Paso. Comprised of the top members of the Tuba and Euphonium Studio under the direction of Arturo Galvan, the group performs a diverse repertoire that includes classical transcriptions, contemporary works, and new compositions written for tuba and euphonium.
The Octet regularly performs at university events, and community concerts serving as an ambassador for UTEP and the El Paso music community. The ensemble also engages in educational outreach and partnerships with composers, fostering the creation of new music for tuba and euphonium.
