BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Jesse Orth (he/him) is the associate professor of tuba and euphonium at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville where he was honored to be receive the 2024 Outstanding Full-Time Teaching Award. He has recently performed and presented at the International Tuba Euphonium conference, International Women’s Brass conference, Texas Music Educators Association conference, Texas Bandmasters Association conference, and the Army Band Tuba Euphonium workshop.
Dr. Orth released his first album Un Día, and composed Into The Depths, a low register etude book for tuba and euphonium. He has earned degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the University of North Texas. He currently enjoys spending his free time on the South Texas beaches fishing, exploring, and relaxing with his wife and two sons.
