BIOGRAPHY
The TEXAS STATE TUBA EUPHONIUM ENSEMBLE, under the direction of Professor Raúl I. Rodríguez, functions as a chamber music extension of Applied Music. The group has gained national prominence with their commitment to showcasing contemporary literature and standard transcriptions as well as world premier compositions in performances at regional, national and international conferences throughout the US. The ensemble has been invited to perform three Music Showcases at the Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention and many International ITECs including those in Denver, Cincinnati, Bloomington and Knoxville and Regional conferences in Austin, Edinburg, Stillwater, Oklahoma, Waco, and Conway, Arkansas.
